Ferrari 275 GTB flying through paris *old*

I cant view it here. is it the video with the camera strapped underneath the car and he spends 10 minutes doing 100mph through backstreets barely missing garbage trucks etc? if so, it's awesome :)

I saw this video on 5th gear I think it was. It is fake. The person who made the film released it to the cinemas in France. I cant remeber what car he used but he edited the Ferrari soundtrack to it. The speed limit was never broken, well maybe but not 140mph.

I try to find out the info on it.

The woman on 5th gear redid the movie with a Citroen I think..

EDIT: beaten for the first time ever.:o

Comments from Lelouch prove that the vehicle that carried the camera was his Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9.

As seen here :)

It is suggested that the sound was dubbed with the noise of Lelouch's 275GTB, which has a corresponding number of gears and a similar engine note.

About 80mph is the top speed reached whilst filming, I seem to remember reading.

Still a great clip though!

It's not a ferrari though, it's a big ol' merc. ;)

The sounds were dubbed on after.

I was quite sad when I discovered this myself earlier this year. Sometimes the internet can be a bad place. It destroys the magic of certain things.

I really liked the idea that it was a Guy Gadbois (google him!) character bombing through the streets of 70's Paris like a loon, just so he could meet a bird. Very French, very cool!

Nice bit of film - not surprised it's fake though, it doesn't look like he's doing 140mph.

Just need to find someone with a hayabusa and we could have a different story! ;)

Didn't some Doris drive the route last week on a motor show at snails pace ?
Excellent footage anyway & well worth watching time & time again.
