Ferrari F40........oh my god

On the way to asda in pudsey this afternoon with bro, saw a flash of red in the rearview mirror a mile down the road, wondered what it was, a few seconds later a ferrari f40 appears, this is the first time I have seen the car in real life, and my dear god the thing is amazing! The sound was just awesome! Annoying thing was the amount of traffic, as the guy was obviously trying to floor it but kept getting blocked by traffic. Managed to get a pic of the beast :

Just wondering how much one of these things would cost as Id love to own one of these, even if it was only for a day just to drive it an experience the thrill

Awesome car. Will always be my favourite by a long shot. I remember owning a 1:10 scale model of it as a kit, it was my pride and joy!

Heh, so did I. I saved up for weeks to buy it.

5 years later and it was ruined

I'd painted it different colours, dropped it, scratched it and broken one of the wheels.

Sounds about the same! I tried lifting it with a model crane, resulting in the windscreen cracking. I even remember how much it cost me (£9.99).

Bargain! Mine was £18.99.

Bought it from a model shop in Anglesey in Wales when I was on Holiday.

I must have been about 12.

Sorry but I always preferred the 959 for looks and ability to open the windows, etc

Does look stunning even now though, the boxster looks like a mondeo in comparison

it makes the boxter look cheap even againts an ageing car, gota love F40 they are stunning cars even by todays standards
nice number plate aswell
