Ferrari F40........oh my god

awesome, my favourite Ferrari. Shame the bumper is hanging off that one.

It's Italian...And has Italian panel gaps...Notice how it's flush on the right but about an inch away on the left?

I once spoke to an F40 owner who used his car exclusively for concours competitions...After arguing with him about how he was doing the car an injustice, we talked for a while and I found out that it cost him the best part of ten grand to have the panels refitted and adjusted so it didn't look like it was put together by a five year old with epilepsy.

it makes the boxter look cheap even againts an ageing car, gota love F40 they are stunning cars even by todays standards
nice number plate aswell :)

I disagree

The Boxter IS cheap in comparison but the Fez actually LOOKS cheap thats because its made of lego and cornflake boxes. Don't get me wrong its a great car a classic supercar the likes of which we will not see again, the design looks expensive-ish but it physically looks plasticky

I've seen this car in headingley befor. He booted it after some lights and in the process made my "mate" start twitching. The sound was amazing and im sure its the same bloke after reading the comments about him trying to cain it, he didn't hang about.

Something tells me the Boxster owner is related to the F40 owner (wife perhaps)..

F40 GLG and R16 HLG...

Some good spots from this one image.. also kudos to the guy spotting the person infront taking a better picture :p

I was thinking when i first saw the image.. what a putdown for the porsche owner..

I agree with MatBlack.. the car itself is a classic and a fantastic motor but they do look like you could build it at home from some spare bits.. wouldnt say no though..

F40's are staggering cars - my favourite! Fit a Tubi exhaust and it's the best sounding car you'll ever encounter on a road. I'm fortunate enough to have a best mate who owns one, and he gets it used properly (Jay Kay's the former owner, you can see it in the "Space Cowboy" video) :D I've lost count of the number of laughs we've had cruizing the streets of Stoke...

£180-200,000

Rotty has 2. :D

Good pic, I love the F40. It is my favorite Ferrari, I think moreso because it is the last car Enzo ordered to be made before his death. He wanted a 200mph road car and he got it. They look so damned mean and I would love to have a drive of one. I find the huge twin turbo aspect quite saucy.

I saw one in a showroom once somewhere down south and nigh on went pop !

While we're on the subject, there were two at Goodwood a couple of weeks back. The latter car has uprated brakes/suspension and a 'few' engine tweaks taking it to ~520BHP..

The best looking Ferrari has to be the one in Sin City, allthough i think theyve modded it a bit in the looks department.
