Ferries to Holland

Has anyone taken a ferry to Holland recently? I've been told that it should cost about £150 but the websites I'm looking at seems to be a lot more. I'm thinking about taking a car of four.

I have. I think there is one from Newcastle iirc.

OK...maybe something slightly further down south....like close to London

Ferry from newcastle can cost around 70quid return, not sure about your car tho.

just use the dover-calais or the tunnel , then 3 hours from other side to AMS

Stena Line operate a reasonably regular ferry service from Harwich to Hook of Holland, which would be your best bet if you live near London and are looking to visit Amsterdam. According to Google Earth that would be 147 miles by car and 124 miles by ferry, from Central London to Amsterdam.

Depending on the timing, four adults and one car should cost about £130 each way.
