Weather was pretty bleak today, even so I decided to take a little stroll around a few local haunts, and by chance stumbled across a lake containing an island with 4 pairs of courting herons. (!)
Light was awful and I struggled to find opportunities let alone keepers, but came home with some of the following shots, not my best but it turned a bleak day into an interesting one. I'm planning on going back early morning on a clear day...
