Fibre Supplier - Recomendations

Its for my father who is moving at a more city location so has access to everything internet wise.
He doesnt need fast fibre, 20mb/s would be fine, he doesn't need a phone line. Any recommendations?
Virgin do 38mb/s fibre for £25 a month and a £15 upfront fee, 18 month contract which is best I can see.

There is plusnet as well doing 38mb/sec for 25 quid a month as well.

Edit 12 mth contract and there seems to be no upfront fee, but a 25 quid activation charge.

38 Meg from Virgin? I thought their lowest tier was 50 Meg (or do they offer VDSL if you can't get their cable?).

He said Plusnet has the £25pm deal if you go with Plusnet's Fibre package (up to 38Mb)...

I'm referring to post 2 lol.

But yes Virgin also do a £25pm 50Mbps deal, which is better tbh if the area isn't oversubscribed.

Might want to check for congestion issues first with Virgin, a quick search on the Virgin forums with the first half of the post code usually will tell you if there is.
