I might be getting one of these (my first car) 1.6 16V

Adding blacked out windows from what it looks like when you buy it...

I personally dont think it looks like a womens car (no offence) but what do you think? I mean ive been looking at the Corsa SXI+ 1.2 more or less the same money thing is theres so many corsa about its unreal plus the new corsa is coming out soon (which looks crap btw)

Just wanted some views :)

Yes, it looks like a womans car but then all small hatchbacks do becuase they are primarily designed for women to go to Tesco in.

Unless it has blacked out windows then it just looks like a muppets car.

Fantastic cars, Really Really enjoyed having myn :)

Easy to drive fast, when on the limit they show that with a little bit of understeer. If you get a decent one ( phase 2 ) you can have Air Con , Leccy mirrors and heated front and rear screens.

Perfect first car. Just dont go ruining it, looks great from standard

A 1.6 is a bit fast for a women to go to Tesco in lol

Its not quick, but you will suprise a few other cars because it handles so well and therefore holds good speed throughout the corners. Tints will look gay , tints can look good but not on the Zetec S

i wouldnt really say its a girls car tbh.
not bad for a first car though, very nice, i have a w reg panther black one. very relaible and nippy. handles well just the wheels are a bit of a bugger to keep clean.

apart from that god choice.

prob wouldnt bother with the blacked out windows though ;)

Im on about the new 2006 Zetec S not the old model...

Really silly first car then. You'd be far better off getting something older, then getting something decent after you've got some experience and got bored of it.

The new Zetec S is a good car but i wouldent ever spend 9K on one, just think what else you could get for that money. Get a MK5 one mate there better anwyway :)

What can we say? It's a, £11,500 Fiesta. At this price it has not a single redeeming feature and it's one of the most foolish things you can possibly do with

Little shopping carts are for people on a budget - if you've got proper money you really can afford a proper car... not that you should spend anythig like that for a first car, obviously.

Tbh If YOU had proper money you wouldnt have a banger mondeo you would have a monaro...

So less of the silly comments please

I like the Zetec S but i having compared the price on autotrader between a zetec s and an ST, i'd definately get an ST, simply due to the fact that there is usually about £0-£500 difference in the price! But please just don't get it as a first car, get a piece of *England team* for your first car because i guarantee it, you will have some dents or whatever in it in the first 2 years of driving, after that time is up get the ST.

Im sure Fox could have bought a more expensive car but why when the Mondeo is a very good car for the money you get them at.

He is right though... for that kind of money you can get a decent car rather than a new Fiesta that'll depreciate like hell...

I'm quite a big fan of the Fiesta, It was my frist car and i was really happy with it (still have it in london 7 years on). I would not call it a girls car however it is aimed at the first time car owner or mothers as a run-around.

If you like it go for it.

EDIT: just seen someone has posted a link to the above site. 2 11.5k on a fiesta are you crazy? you can get a lot more car for the money.
