Just got myself a PS3 on MM and would like to know what of these games are like on console?

I have previously only got the pc versions so im a little out of the circle with how they do on console. I heard they are better but not sure which is better and whether they are worth a punt on?

Thanks

I think both games still have their demo on the psn store if you want to try before you buy.

Personally I prefered FIFA, and i think most people do at the moment, but it's definately worth trying the demos as some people do prefer PES...

Be advised the demo of PES2010 is quite different to the finished game, I wouldn't base your opinion on that. The finished game is mutch better. If you're more into your master league/fifa manager modes than also be advised that the Fifa manager mode just plain sucks and is riddled with bugs.

FIFA is far better, only the die hard PES fanboys can come up with a reason to play that travesty of a game :p

...and only Fifa fanboys would slate it as such. :p

I'd deffo recommend Fifa over PES, it is generally better all round but PES is still enjoyable. It just takes a while to get into after coming off Fifa which is probably why it gets slated as they haven't given it the time of day. Fifa 10 for the win though.

Im far from a fanboy of any kind, I believe people should buy what best represents the sport in this case, and as stated above, FIFA is leaps and bounds ahead of PES.

If that changed, I would buy PES in a heartbeat ;)

It's the best PES in years as far as I'm concerned.
I can't get into FIFA at all, scoring is never ever as satisfying to me, there's something intangible about PES which enables it to rise above it's flaws.
I've never jumped around the room after scoring an outstanding goal on FIFA, but I most certainly have on PES.
Plus, oddly, PES has a better depth of international teams than FIFA if you're into that, and within 24hrs of it's release there was a very decent option file for the PS3 with all prem kits.
Master League simply can't be bettered either, FIFA isn't even close on that side of things.

It's worth noting that I've never enjoyed a FIFA though, so you can probably take my comments with a small pinch of salt.

I've converted to Fifa. I've been PES since 2002. For some reason, FIFA10 drew me in. I now love it. I can still play and have a laugh with PES, espcially 2009, it was fantastic.

Fifa Wins.

PES09 let me down after being a die hard fan from PES3 all the way up to 9. I tried Fifa 10 at my mates house after hating the previous Fifa games and I loved it! Bought it and haven't regretted it atall.
