Gerrard was awful in both matches.

Roy even got a front row viewing of how that role should be played in the first match.
 
Not sure why individuals are being blamed. England were overrun in midfield for the first 60 minutes until Barkley come on and then Lallana and used Baines and Johnson for the width. Roy got it very wrong first 60 minutes.

Yup, noticed that too. We try to pass over the opposition more often than not. And then the receiving player heads it to the other team.

The other thing I noticed is that so many of our players stand totally still when they get the ball. It's like they can either run, or have the ball, but can't run *when* they have the ball.

I know what you mean though, cross would have been fine if it was a decent cross, high and slow gave the keeper no reason to not come out and collect.
 
Overhit, rubbish floaty lollup crosses, awful passing, waste of time watching this. Gerrards been the worst player on the pitch in both games, hopefully this will be the end of his international career.
 
How useless is Hodgson, really. You see what's going wrong, you see your insistence on playing players out of position is killing the team and you do nothing. Terrible manager, too old and out of it and bottled Liverpool immeasurably but still got the job. England and our FA in a nutshell that.
