Umm but hes right, it has a shred history with Tai Chi etc, its a form if movement and a "dance" MA, but it wasnt intended for fontact use or defence.

I've been to 3 different classes, it is complete nonsense and would get you seriously hurt if you relied upon it in a real fight, it is one of the worst forms of Bullshido going.

Where/when? Not that I don't believe you - there are numerous moron dojos out there. Midway between mcdojo and bullshido.

Oh, and you don't fight in Aikido - so it's largely a moot issue.

You would get hurt using most TMA's in a streetfight though wouldn't you and I wouldn't recommend demonstrating your BJJ skills and pulling someone into guard whilst their mates kick you in the head.

Anyways, JCVD as he has a genuine fight-record.
