Fighting Fantasy

Used to love the old Jackson/Livingstone books when I was a kid. Spent many an hour cooped up playing those. Even had teachers photocopy the game sheets for me in primary school for weekends and holidays.

Fighting Fantasy books were brilliant fun :) Used to love the Lone Wolf series too. Sold all my Lone Wolf books a while back though as they were fetching good prices on ebay at the time :(

Were these the ones where you turned to a page based upon the decision you made and it invariably ended up with : "You are attacked by an unforseen and unforseeable enemy and die, permanently. The End" ?

Fighting fantasy was awesome XD If you would like to behead the zombie, turn to page 10. If you'd like to drink tea with the zombie, go to page 15.

Page 15 : The zombie doesn't like your tea and eats your spleen. You die (after a while) screaming and wishing you didn't do such an awful thing.

I've got one of these way of the tiger, Usurper, on my bookshelf. I have a few of the ff books as well.

I like the Usurper because it didnt involve dice and of course Ninjas Rule.
