Film - Cloud Atlas - I squealed (no stars, you can jump for those)

It would appear it's something to do with them not having a global distributor, total bummer though.

Pirates will get this out quickly, but there's no way I'm not seeing this in the cinema. 4k or bust!

Defiantly, I'll be seeing this in 2D 4K but sadly a third of a year later than most other countries. Hopefully this won't be pushed into 3D only, not having an option for 2D is like being punched in the dark.

I saw this movie last night and it was very Marmite - you will either love it or think it is the biggest pile of rubbish you ever saw in your life.

My wife was angry at how bad she thought it was. I enjoyed some of it, but the style made it hard to enjoy. There were some things to appreciate - great cinematography, nice to see a new idea etc. but overall it just didn't work for me - 4/10

Absolutely outrageous film, jumped into my top 5.

Came across it randomly, didn't watch a trailer, didn't here anything about it at all, wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

grossed £26bn worldwide WHY!

Was going to ask how people are seeing this...... then found out despite not being released over here till Feb it opened in the US in October :/

The trailer blew my mind when I saw it, I'll almost certainly be checking it out on Blu Ray when it's released (which will probably be a year after those in the States first saw it)

This looks like one of those ***** artistic style movies, I'd rather download than waste my money at the Cinema. Actually I don't think I'd waste my time doing that either

I can see Mark Kamode for the BBC drooling over this rubbish

I was baffled by this movie, definitely one for a second viewing. Was hooked on each story and loved the way it cut from one to another, saw a few connections but overall was a little confused how they all connected, I thought it would be more obvious.

The future civilisation was a little annoying as they spoke broken English and I couldn't understand it half the time. Had to really use the old noggin to decode some of it.

Like the film but overall I'm not sure I totally got the message or what it was trying to do.

Grossed £26 mil not bil. Estimated budget of £100 mil and therefore estimated loss of £74 mil!

I'm loving all these concise and descriptive film reviews of a film that's not even out in this country for another 2 odd months.

So one can only presume that people are watching it via download, which is hardly how the Wachowskis would have intended their film was viewed. Granted the content is still the same, but you're hardly getting the full cinematographic experience.

Stunning film. I tried reading the book years ago but struggled with it and gave up - too much ye olde english in it for me, but the movie was fascinating. It looks beautiful, and I think it does a better job of interweaving the stories than the book did (in fact the book doesn't really do this at all). Its a long film, but doesn't really feel like it - best to watch in a darkened room when you've got time to just relax and soak it all in.

Watched it with my 15 year old daughter and she's just ordered the book from amazon. We'll definitely go and see it again when its on at the cinema.
