Having read most of the posts on the i5 and am3 chips Ive settled for the i5. The system will be used for work (office work so nothing fast needed) and gaming. Ive gone with the i5 for the following reasons.

1) clock for clock they seem faster
2) I unsure of the overclocking potential of the simlar priced PII

Ive picked out

Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail + Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Game £159.99
(£139.12) £159.99
(£139.12)
Asus P7P55D Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard £114.99
(£99.99) £114.99
(£99.99)
G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-16000C9 2000MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH)

Can any one see any problems with this setup. I want it as cheap as possible with out compremising the OCing potential. I havent added a HS yet as Im at my max budget, so I will run it with a small OC untill I can invest in a desent one.

Cheers in advance.

I havent picked out a cooler yet, its a while since I kept up with new hardware so i have a bit of reading to do before I get one. I do like the look of the all in one water coolers (dont have time to maintain a full set up these days), but Ive seen mixed comments about them.
