Finally did something about my green climate control unit

Most of my dash i've converted from greens and yellows to blues and reds, the one thing that was left is the climate control unit.

So I bought a spare one and got cracking

, i might have to do something like that on my Focus, looks smart. Ive changed a fair few LED's in my DVD writer drives to match my eclipse blue led, is it any different on cars?.

This is a really neat idea actually, I might consider doing the same to a new 'Vette if I pick it up - they use a selection of slightly disinteresting green LEDs which are actually quite tricky to see in daylight - high intensity would be much nicer, along with a few colours.

Looks cool at night though.

The blue looks a bit bright for me, but I'm sure it looks good in the dark.

its not that bright for real, i was taking the pictures quite close with a phone camera

Monkeyman, auction finishes tomorrow and I'm pretty determined to win it!

Thart be the one - needs some paint touchups to the bumper corners but otherwise in very fine fettle mechanically, which is all I'm looking for

All important auto as well, which you need in a C4 really due to the spazmatic flyoff handbrake!

Nice, better colour that your last one as well. Make sure you post some pics and vids up if you get it.

How much do you think that will cost you? I had a quick look on ebay and they all seemed really expensive.

Aye nice simple mod, done this to my astra, well the dials and the clock/date thing. but to red, much better than the horrible orangey/yellow that was there before.

I wanted to change all the lights in the dash, but the climate control in mine looks a nightmare! Been told there quite expensive too!

Hopefully no more than 4200 quid.......Gives me some room to get the paintwork done then plus whatever else.

Got a new alternator on it though, which is nice - as C4s eat them all the time

Winning bidder on this at the moment with reserve met also, but I suspect this will go for more like 7500.

Dave, the 5k bid is mine......but I suspect that one'll climb and climb.

Interesting to see it has a "UK" plate rear end though.

Nice blower install there, most of the Corvette people seem to use procharger type systems, really looks the business!
