Finally got myself the 50mm F/1.8!

Indeed. However, I have had some bad experiences where flare has been an issue along with the focusing accurancy wide open. £60 who cares.

I got the 50mm from the mm this week, £65 with UV filter, 2 x 256 cards, 3 cokin filters and a remote, bargain me thinks

The lens for the price is brilliant, excellent in low light and very sharp for such a cheap lens.

£70-80 usually. I got mine for £79 from retail shop in london, tottenham court rd.

i'll go for the 1.4 but not until I kill my 50mm with overuse!
which I'm trying of course!
