I am using it for FPS gaming. Has anyone played with the settings on the monitor and graphic card to get better results? I just want to get the most out of the monitor. :)

I shall be searching through the 100's of threads on this forum, and other websites to see what I can gather, but hoping some users can suggest here too!

Many regards in advanced.

In our review we set up the XL2410T using the following settings -

Contrast = 56
Brightness = 52 +/- 4
Red = 95
Green = 92
Blue = 90

Of course each individual monitor is different so I can't say whether these settings would be optimal for yours. Users have reported an improvement using these settings though so see how it goes.

How do I make sure the monitor is set at 120hz, I am guessing this would be in the monitor settings and also in the ATI Control Panel.

The monitor is fantastic, I notice the performance in game, and the quality of the monitor is so sturdy and well built. :)

Yeah use the CCC panel or you can set it under the "screen resolution" option when you right click on the desktop.

As with all current and known future iterations of the technology it's a TN panel type monitor.

are the LED monitors much better than the LCDS in general? i noticed theyre not more expensive when as far as TVS are concerned, theyre like twice the price

good choice man, glad I changed from my Asus to the BenQ now. a lot sweeter.

I will test those settings out later tonight :)

What makes the BenQ more sweeter then the Asus if you mean the Asus VG236HE?
I just RMA mine and asus replaced it with a brand new one that i aint opened yet, So im thinking should i sell it and get the Benq like i first planed

I was originally meant to get the Acer GD245HQ 23.6" 3D monitor with my system, but it was out of stock. I swapped it out for the BenQ one. Should be coming tommorow.

Cant wait to see how Batman: Arkum Asylum plays in 3D! :D

The colours just aren't so garish. The panel itself is larger and the glossy Asus screen got on my nerves alittle as I was sick at looking at my own mug in the reflection!

The ASUS really made you a part of the action huh? :D Although the BenQ we reviewed was far from perfect (as the review describes) it did have quite a decent balance between the 'vibrant' look and more natural look. The image was marred in places as some colours appeared a little oversaturated whilst some areas of the image appeared ‘dull’ at the same time - the slight excess backlight bleedthrough on our monitor did hamper the contrast a little, too. On the whole whole the image was pretty decent though after some tweaking. There were certainly no 'mirror like' instances on the BenQ although I would have preferred a semi-gloss coat like BenQ use on some of their other monitors. I still haven't seen the ASUS to compare although I have seen some new ASUS monitors (non 3D) in the past - if these experiences are anything to go by I think I know where NathWraith is coming from. There is nothing wrong with a nice bit of image vibrancy but some of the colours just looked plain wrong and out of place (a bit like they were painted on - kind of like Nvidia Digital Vibrancy cranked up too high). I can't comment on the VG236HE specifically though.

Lol :D I dont have much issues with reflections day or night unless im looking at a black background. Does the benq fill more responsive to you? And also is there anythink special about the Senseye feature thats meant to give better contrast and sharpness?

I noticed on my asus compeared to my hanns-g 27 monitor that game characters appear darker when inside buildings on some games.
My RMA monitor is currently unopened till if should keep it or not :)
