Finding a room to rent, where to look?

It's looking likely I might be having to move to a job and I'm in need of a room to rent for during the week.

Don't want to go the whoel hog and rent a little flat as renting a room suits my needs perfectly, I'll only be there Monday-Thrusday nights and they work out a lot chepaer with most including all bills in their rent.

Now where's the best place to hunt out rooms to rent? All I've done initially is browse around on Rightmove to see what there is in that area (Swindon).

It might be worth asking your new employer if they have a staff notice board or newsletter you could advertise in.

You can search for mon-fri renting places on either gumtree or flatshare can't remember which one

Best bet would probably be the gumtree.

Just asked the exact opposite question as I was looking to rent out my room.

Found my room mate on Gumtree.

Gumtree and Spareroom were the only ones I got responses from.
