As per the title I am looking for an app or command that would give me a list of all the HDD serial numbers and the SATA channel its connected to. Googling brings up a way of getting serial numbers but not chennel numbers.

Thanks in advance.

I think hwinfo gives the SATA speed and crystaldiskinfo gives serial numbers if available, I'm not sure if they say which port though.

few options
for sata ports
look in the bios it should tell you what drive
is connected to what port
though cant remember if it tells you serial numbers
so if got all identical drives that may not work

using amd so cant check
but vaguely recall intel RST software may tell you

or try diskpart
select disk
detail disk
should say C00 or C01 ,C02 etc right at end of location path text after ATA
example from my sata drive
Location Path : PCIROOT(0)#PCI(0102)#PCI(0000)#PCI(0A00)#PCI(0000)#ATA(C00T00L00)
so i assume C00 means channel/sata port 00
your motherboard manual will tell you
which port is which ie 00,01,02,03,04 etc
but again if got all identical drives that may not help either
