It secures to the back of the case when you install it. It should come with some screws in the box.

If you leave it without screwing is down it will be ok when it is sitting there, but as soon as you start carrying it about you have 3kg of metal bashing all your expensive components to bits.

Wow you got the stuff! There should be a manual with your case telling you where to plug all those cables. I guess the charge cable is for that ipod charging dock on the case - not sure where on the mobo it should go (does it fit in a USB header?). The USB2 cable should go to a USB2 header on your mobo. Your mobo has USB3 though, right? Is there a USB3 header on the board and does the case have an option to connect a USB3 cable instead so your case front USB sockets are USB3?

right another stupid question i used a 8 pin extension cable (akasa) for cable management is this okay and i have plugged most of the front panel connectors in but two are missing are they needed i cant find them with the case so i guess i dont have them? (+msg-,-ci+)?

Yes, the akasa extension cable is great - using one myself.

Don't worry about not using all the front panel connectors - I only have Power switch and reset switch hooked up (I hate flashy LEDs on the front).

Can i ask if you used motherboard standoffs?

I would certianly give the motherboard manual a check through as they are normally pretty good. Give this a read through too:

well im done windows installed drivers the whole lot,thanks to everyone for helping me choose,argue,order and build.Im pretty chuffed at this,never thought i could do something like this.

but one problem i have bought a sidewinder x8 mouse and i have everything plugged in but its not working,is it charging? am i being stupid again? anwser back thanks.
