What a fantastic choice of mouse

. USB receiver plugged in? Batteries installed in mouse? Software installed? That should be it. You then just pick up the charging cable as and when you need it.

Maybe still charging then? I'm sure mine arrived with charged batts? Maybe not. But I would have thought it should work plugged in even if the batteries are dead. Does the magnetic cable connector rock/wiggle? And if it does does it come to life if you rock/wiggle it? Maybe dodgy - one review seemed to report this problem. Mine rocks slightly but works fine as the contacts are sprung anyway.
