Was at the front line watching this fire, bloody crazy, you could feel the heat hitting you, there was some drunken idiots there trying to attact the press for some reason then they started on me when I pulled my camera out, old bill had to make them back off, anway I managed to get a few pictures, the close shots where taken from the far side, I managed to sneak under the police tape to get them :-),

Dude I was watching the fire from the other side in sailors car park.

Those pics are amazing, cant believe you had some idiots starting on you for trying to take pics when they were probably doing the same thing with their mobile phones 5 mins earlier. Morons!!!

How do you know that a person was dead when the photos were taken?
Missed the keyword, 'when'. Even so, to think somebody may be dead or even dying when those pictures were taken...bit of an eerie thought.

Thought about emailing the press? i.e. BBC/Newspapers.

Those pics might be worth a few bob :)

BBC won't pay you jack for them, they get plenty of morons sending them pictures for free just to get their name on the website.

edit - "You can send your pictures and moving footage to [email protected] or text them to 07725 100 100" Don't even think about sending them there. They'll rarely even email you back, and just use your pictures, sometimes without proper credit.

I know this because I had my photos 'taken' when Southampton Uni had a fire. I made the mistake of posting them on the net first, then some kind soul [read: total knob end] sent them to the BBC for free, 'on my behalf'

Newspaper might but I wouldn't count on much, too many people nowadays are all too happy to just give away their photos so the press are less and less inclined to pay for this stuff unless it is very very very good and something they couldn't hope to get anywhere else.

By all means send an email, but i'd be incredibly surprised if you got anything.

It doesn't strike me as being like when VIRII was the only person there, got some awesome photos and sold them to The Sun.

They're his property.

They're also worth far less as far as any press are concerned if they are in the public domain. Why pay him for something he's happy to dish out for free to other people?

According to sky news just now the guy that died actually died when he jumped from the 2nd floor window.

Also, the building only had a wooden fire escape.

They started demolishing the building now.

I don't know about that - I got £500 from the Sun for a scan of Russell Brand's school photo!

Is that something that other people could feasibly have given them, or they could have found on google though?
