safe mode or a
new profile (don't delete the one you've got though!) might be useful too - it isn't unknown for extensions to trigger the problem.

Actually, "they" have to a point. There's a meta bug for the problem -
#320465, and I'm sure there's been checkins to the 1.8.1 (== Fx 2.0.0.x) branch to fix it.
The difficulty in reproducing the bug doesn't make it any easier, but I haven't see it in months on the nightly builds. If it's such a major annoyance, it might be worth trying one of the Gran Paradiso alphas - a8 should be released within a few weeks, and a7's been out for a while (
but backup your profile first then start with a new profile - the two aren't completely compatible and you may cause more problems than you fix).

If by "bugs section", you mean the Firefox Bugs forum on Mozillazine, there is so much utter drivel ("Firefox sux0rs!!!!!1111 Totally broken!!!1111 Disast0r!!!!", without actually identifying a problem, how to reproduce it or anything else that might help to find and fix the bug) that any decent posts get buried under an avalanche of crap.
So im using firefox and it has this seriously annoying feature where keys like / and ' become shortcuts to bring up find bar which is annoying the hell out of me, and is especially annoying when im trying to post or something :/
You mean it happens while you've got a textbox focussed? Anything else is expected behaviour.
