Firestrike Ultra 4K Bench.

I couldn't find this thread last night - the link in the "important" links sticky doesn't work and search didn't find it either so I only registered a couple of superposition benchmark scores

1x 1800X @4Ghz
1x RX Vega 64 XTX Water @1980Mhz/1100Mhz - using 17.8.1.beta6-7aug driver

SCORE

6090 with Generic VGA(1x) and AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
Graphics Score 6155
Physics Score 20468
Combined Score 2857

If you look at the front of all the threads I run there will be a link to "Links to useful benches.".

The above link pages will be able to take you to any of the bench threads and loads of other stuff too.:)

Thats the thread I used but the link to this page didn't work - and other bench threads don't appear in that page unless I'm being particularly stupid since last night.

Its still not working - shows a forum error and its a link to a post - and doesnt work if I turn it into a link to a thread either.

TimeSpy isnt in the list either.

You are describing the sticky at the top of the forum.

Mine is in the OP of the threads I update and time spy is most definitely listed.:)

Yep - might it be worth getting the Admiral (or some other mod) to update their links ??

If there have been no cards released for a while the bench threads disappear from view and that is the only evidence left. Mostly right is like "Mostly Harmless".

The mods could use my thread as a sticky as it has all the important links in there.:)

But vega can be well ahead on graphics, well ahead on physics but score only 1/2 the others on combined and hence the overall score is slugged. Something is slugging it and I can only presume slightly higher CPU Hz/IPC over a small number of cores.

Unless AMD can increase clockspeed and IPC for Ryzen they will not do well on the combined score.

I have the same problem using my 6950Xs when compared to other CPUs on the combined test.

Anyone like AMDMatt will also get this problem with Threadripper on the combined test.

New run with TR (on **** Corsair H55 AIO - will rerun once proper block arrives) - wanted to sneak into the top 10. Looking forward to seeing what it cxan do on a waterblock when it's not throttling all the time!

Scoreboard updated.:)

If it is possible with an AMD CPU, have you tried running with hyperthreading turned off. This could give you a higher clockspeed and possibly an improved score.:)
