I am getting the parts for my newest PC soon, what is the first game I should play? I was thinking either Dragon Age, Left for Dead 2, Dawn of War 2, or Arkam Asylum.

Dragon Age is simply awesome. So if you already have this is my recommendation. Due to the length I'd couple this with some Left 4 Dead 2 sessions.

Half life 2, great story, a couple of expansions to keep you going and with a mod the graphics have been updated aswell. really a great game!

Hello Kitty Island adventure is a popular choice!

A serious answer would be it depends on the mood you're in. I REALLY liked DAO and AA, but didn't touch the other 2 games so can't comment on those.

+1 Crysis. Take your computer to the limit and have your newly swelling ego crushed as the game begins to choke.

Or whatever you're in the mood for :D Ideally something you can enjoy in a way you couldnt enjoy before. If you want a few more fps or better quality in, say, Dragon Age, then go for Dragon Age. There's a reason you upgraded after all, no? :D

Actually thinking about it... I'd say DAO might be best for a later game.

It will eat up tons of time, so shorter games are best played first I find... or play DAO at the same time when you feel like a bit of a break.

DoW 2 is breathtakingly good fun. I christened my new rig with this over christmas :D

Now onto Bioshock and Dragon Age and Team Fortress 2
