First film I ever saw at the cinema was when my father took me to see Zulu in 1964, I was 7 at the time - I spent half the time with my jaw in my lap but what an experience :D
A brilliant film. A true classic.

"What's wrong with them? Why don't they fight?"
"They're counting your guns"

The Jungle Book some time in the early 70's. I think it was the first of a double feature, with the second film being the newer one, but I have no clear memory of what the other one was, it may have been "Digby The Biggest Dog in the World". Anyway, since Jungle Book was shown first, that is the one.

If I can get my excuses in early, my parents never took me to the cinema, so my first trip was when a friend's mum decided to take us, and she was rather a prim and proper lady.

it was "Three Men and a Little Lady".

Quite enjoyed it, if I'm honest.

This is a great question but I'm really I'm struggling to remember. I suspect it may have been a re-release of Fantasia (1940) or The Jungle Book (1967) in late 70's, otherwise definitely The Empire Strikes Back in 1980.
