Hello, I am looking to spec a pc for about £300ish and as a first time builder I came up with this. (Dont need Hard drive)

I would be glad if you would cast your eyes over this and give me your opinions on a) is it all compatible and b) could I do better for the price?

Many thanks.

yep, should all work fine:
- motherboard supports AM3 socket processors (your one)
- it supports DDR3 RAM
- it has the socket you need for the graphics card
- it has 4 SATA ports (used for CD drives and hard drives)
- power supply is plenty good enough

Thanks for your help reaper.

What about the PSU? Should I save money and go for a cheaper one for half the price?
the PSU is the very last place you want to save money. if you get a low quality one then it has a very high chance of going wrong. also, when it does die, it will probably take the mobo, processor and graphics card with it.

what you need is a good quality power supply, and for it to be 400W or more. im no expert on power supplies, but i believe the one you chose is pretty good. i have the BeQuiet pure power 530W power supply myself, which i know to be of great quality. link: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-042-BQ&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1083

does anyone know if the OCZ Stealth XStream is a good quality PSU? im 95% sure it is, but can someone just confirm this for me please

I had a stealthXstream a few years back, i think it was a 600w, it didn't "die" on me so to speak, but when i shut the PC down, you had to wait 30 seconds to boot it back up, something seemed to go wrong with the "standby" voltage (if there is one) whereby it had to "charge" up before you use it ... i replaced it and it completely cured the PC's problem
