Looks good. First thing I noticed is that it's not too long either.

I assume we won't get any decent performance figures for a month or two?

[Edit] Looking at the length, I would put my money on GTX360 rather than GTX380, but i'd love to be proven wrong.

Was gonna say I can only see two, but looking closer I see what you mean - looks like two are being routed into one connector?

At least it looks like a real card this time :)

yeah i think you're right; i can definitely see 2 yellow cables going into the top right point

WTF is going on with that? zero point energy to power this beast? :D

Can't wait to see all the "What PSU do I need?" threads!

And the replies - Nuclear power station! :D

Though, maybe it's not what it appears and it will all turn out reasonably. Maybe.

Its just a 8 and a 6 pin, nothing special.

Those connections look very similar to my Akasa plugs where the 8 pin branches off into a 6 pin (8+6) further down the same line.

errr with 3 leads? there is defo more than one line going into a few of those connector points...

There is a 8 & 6 pin going into the card but the 8 plug is a 8/6 pcie cable which means it has 6 pin branching off of it. Its nothing special, quite a few psus have them.

This is what you are seeing going to the 8 pin plug and a separate cable from the psu is being used for the 6 pin connection rather than the one that branches off.

Ah, ok. Makes sense to me now.

So what does that add up to then in total watts? I know the slot provides 75W and the 6 pin PCI-E 75 Watt, but how much for the 8 pin?

ard looks really long to me, though I've never seen a 5870 in the flesh, so it might just be the pictures lying to me. It appears to just lip over the edge of the motherboard, about 1-2cm's.

Look forward to seeing some benchies on this thing, and yes I think that'll be a 360 also, I imagine the 380 will be longer.
