My girlfriend's friend asked if I could take some pictures of her and her daughter yesterday and, seeing as she's a good friend, I obliged. I've got a few more than these but these are the best of the buch. I'm considering using one as a last minute entry in to this month's comp but I'm not sure.

3,4,5, and 6 are all very soft with no focus on the eyes, you shot all of them at 1.8 which is probably the cause of this. the clutered backrounds detract from the photos. non of them work for me.

1 and 2 are the best, both have nice composition. get the ironing board out, greased backdrops again detract from the photos.

sorry if im coming across a bit harsh.

The backdrops were ironed 2 each before I left and that's the best they'd go. I've been considering taking them to be done professionally as it'll most definitely be worth it

I am no pro, but the first two would have been fine if the background was ironed.

Forget the sheet and buy a large roll of say plain white paper and hang that.

The rest again are out of focus and have to much going on.

I will get some white paper and mean really white and try again

Sorry if i sound mean
