hey there, so im going on contract for the first time as it would benefit me more.

Im looking at paying £25 a month, im not really sure what the best companies are for contract thats why i asked here. I currently have an a nokia 6170 on oranage PAYG so its abit dated :p

I will be needing about 150 - 200 minutes and about 300+ text's a month.

What do you suggest :)

P.s and a good phone :p

Ok i found an orange plan that will do be 150minutes/600texts a month and an O2 plan that will do me 150minutes/750texts a month both for £25 a month!

Ive never used O2 before, are they any good?

Which is the best phone to go for, d900 or W800i?

I've been with O2 for a year and they are very good, i'm assuming you saw the Online 100 txter package, if you after 150-200 mins, it MAY be cheaper to get the Online 200, £30 a month instead of 25 but those 100 mins extra can add up quite easily.

As for the phones, i really can't say, heard good things about both, have been using a D600 which is pretty similar OS/wise etc.. and i love it, but recieved my K800i today cause i fancied a change :)

I've just signed up with three and got 300 minutes and 1000 texts for 15 pound a month (instead of the full priced 30 pound a month) for the full 18 months and also double texts and minutes for the first 6 months so 600 minutes and 2000 texts, which I think is pretty good really.

I don't really go over 90 minutes, rarely over 60 to be honest so 150 should be fine for me :)

It seems o2 is for me, is it best to get online or instore?

They're both fine, but if you go instore i'd go to an O2 store, not phones4u etc..

O2 online sales number, see what they can do for you :)

Well my silver K800i is on charge right now, looks very nice indeed, had a quick play and its very nice and easy to get the hang of, but i got the usual "new screen headache" that you get with new phones! :)

I'm still in the boat of you can't go wrong with either, D900 is a little flatter K800i a little fatter but not quite as wide with a flash that could re-blind stevie wonder from 800m!

I wouldn't say huge at all, about 1cm bigger in length than my closed D600, and maybe 4-5mm thicker on the camera portion? Comparison pics, excuse the awful quality, taken with a bad digicam in bad light :)

The main reason it looks bulky, is because the Phone & buttons are square is all, but its not that big a phone, besides, candybar phones are always gonne be that little bit bigger than flip/sliders :)

I just ordered myself a contract, had a choice out of a wide range of phones.

Chose the D900 over the K800 :)

£35 - 550mins and Unlimited Minutes, quite chuffed its my first time on contract too.

Reason for selecting D900 - not as many people have it, nice and sleek, light, stylish :)
