No idea. Get a cab if you are bothered, you are still saving £100+ a night :p

It's about 4 miles by cab to Haboken as suggested by Simon, for example.

Hmm, seems a bit far out - especially if you need to pop back to the hotel during the day if you're doing sightseeing.
 
Seems a bit odd staying of Manhatten though, how easy is it to get trains back from bars/restaurants?

Hoboken is the place to go out I found whilst I was there. Manhattan is too touristy and spread out unless you trek down to the meat packer district.

I reckon staying in the SoHo area would be kind of cool - not too far from the Meatpacker district too.
