What's your nearest train station and how far is it from you?

I can bring a 360 + any games but would need to source controllers and a TV from somewhere. I have the 360 component and VGA cables.

Well I can bring any console (PS3/Wii/360) and if it's the 360/Wii pretty much any game.

nearest stations are Aberystwyth or Carmarthen. Both are 30-40 mins away but the genius thing is that to get here you HAVE to come through one of those towns. So lifts will be possible, im also happy to pick a few peeps up, Taxi might be a good choice for a few people 4 in a cab would cost about £6 each.

Busses can be caught for a few quid. Timetables etc available on request

we will have some spare TV sets and monitors but i really need everyone to bring whatever they can. Obviously your coming by train so if you could bring 360 maybe wii too if poss?

But if anyone coming by car could bring as much as they can for the greater good. Ideally id like some spare PC's for dedicated servers.

I get the idea its gonna be a mostly console affair, more drink and gaming based, but im up for getting as much PC gaming going as poss!
 
The wii is piddly so could probably bring both. My NEC 20WGX2 would have been great to bring but sound would be an issue >_<

This may be the clincher on whether I can come or not.
 
I'll be coming by train - just checking with a couple more mates, both with a 360 and 3 controllers each (plus a 360 and 2 controllers from me). If they confirm, then it might be a 3 to a room affair...

I highly doubt I can lug my 32" HDTV or my 19" CRT to the LAN :P
 
Need to create a guide list mate, and sort out a list of loanee monitors, so 'x' people can have them on a first come, first served basis.

I only have the option of a 32" HDTV or 24" W/S monitor, either is great for playing on but I don't think I'd be Wyrdo's best mate with a 32" HDTV along for the ride :p. I believe he has a 24" Dell too.

I'd also recommend getting some small sticky labels printed UE with users names on that they can stick on their pads, consoles and monitors so that people can keep track, especially with the controllers being wireless.

I'm gonna mainly be there for the drinking though :p. Then some Wii action with McDaniel and Kreeeee.
 
I'd reccommend making it headphones only. Gets noisy and crap very quickly.

Speakers for a main screen/console/PC (Projector anyone?)

As for the weekend thing its just due to a sun->sat working week. I'll do my best though - got about 1.5 weeks hol spare. Gonna have to save some for the GT13 LAN in Feb/March ;)

Good Advice m8, im gonna try to peice something together tomorrow and ill post up info. Im just trying to get a handle on numbers first of all.
 
I'm not sure, I will be at uni and coming from scotland transport would cost a bomb, since I doubt megabus wont go to wales. I'll see what the response is from other scots etc.

Would love to come though.
