Floating idea - Lan Party - November - In Private Hotel - Wales

Well that's a definate from me. Shame about Psymonkee, I really wanted to get off with him ;)

UE, will send you payment at end of month if that's ok (obvious reasons!), but it's a definate from me. Can't wait. Just make sure the bar has Bells, Canada Dry and some bitter (and none of the felinfoel crap either!)

Bells blows. :p.
Now, you're gonna hate me for this Jason, and I'm sure there will be some respect gone...

Ultra, what is your lager selection, both bottled or draught?

If he touches me I'll give him a slap!

Edit: Just realised... it's my sisters 20th birthday on the 11th.

Bring her along!

Nothing better than to celebrate her 20th with a bunch of drunken, slightly homosexual (looking at J and UE) gamers... perhaps her first experience as a LANgirl! :P

(I can see people asking if she's fit now...)

I've not said no yet :p

:>

Checking the diary in < 1 hour and then we'll see whats what :D

Cost

1 Adult single per night £20 (50 for all three)
2 Adults sharing (either double or twin) £30 (or 75 for 3)
3 Adults sharing (family room only 3 available) £45 (110 for all 3)

I'm abit confused (not hard to do but...)
it's £50 single for the weekend and it's £75 double/twin sharing for the weekend, is that £75 per person or per room? if it's per room, then I can see the price being reasonable :P

How many to share a family room? 3 adults?

Thanks :)

I'd ideally like to bring my pc but as I can only come by train that looks like a no go as it's too frigging big :p

I can bring my 360 though with 2 wireless controllers and all the games i have if that's better? (gow, graw 2, forza 2, tdu, pgr 3).

But I'm a definate now as I can cover costs easy and should be able to get time off work once the date is set definate :)

m8, if a single is £20 per night, then why would i charge £150 for 3 nights? and if im charging essentially £15 per person per night sharing, then why would i charge 150 each? lol

£75 = fri, sat and sunday night for 2 peeps :D

McDan = Monitors would be great my man

Psymonkee = Hope you can come dude.

~J~ = Ok m8 ill add you and ensure bells is on. Bitter wise because we dont do real ales (sorry but its a small bar that prolly sells 3 pints a week in november lol) we have worthington on draught but we will have Speckled Hen, Newcastle brown and guiness by the bottle. Im sure that'll suffice

Nokkon = Stella and carling m8, with bud in bottles.

Im want to put up a request system listing some of the things i would like people to bring if poss.

We could do with the following:-

LCD projector or 2 if poss

Any HD screens anyone can bring over 17in (including monitors)

any cables for 360 connectivity, so if you have both a VGA and std connector please bring both.

At least 2 PC's that can be dedicated severs. I can provide perhaps 2 however we would be talking athlon 3000+ range which while fine for the older games might not be so good for latest ones.

If anybody can bring the above please do. Im sure we can organise some kind of thank you from those who couldnt bring things. If your gonna bring a spare monitor/tv id have no problem with you renting it out as long as its reasonable.

If anyone can help with any of the above please drop me an email [email protected]

If I can get a lift I can bring:

20" widescreen (NEC 20WGX2)
18" none WS (Dell 1801)
360, PS3, Wii
A C2D e6600 @3.6 GHz, 2GB RAM, 8600GT rig
360 VGA, Wii component and PS3 HDMI cables.

Obviously I'm not bringing my 37" HDTV and the less I bring the more comfortable I'll be.
