Flood Warnings

We got flooded bad last night in hebden bridge next to river calder,
flooding started in todmorden at 8pm river burst the banks, then 9pm in mytholmroyd then 9:30 in hebden bridge then 10pm in sowerby bridge.
all the roads and train tracks was flooded no transport (apart from in my big jeep with snorkle :D)
Today theres a foot of mud everywhere, rubbish, sewerage the lot..

I live less than 100 metres from the Thames.

But we have the barrier, so I couldn't give a monkeys.

Haha you noob - the Thames barrier only stops flooding in the event of a North Sea surge - it does nothing if the water comes from the other direction!
