So thinking about booking up for next year, June time. But it seems there is not many places taking bookings at this time. I really thought it would be cheaper booking all separate, it seems not.

Anyone give a bit of advice on flights, accom etc?

Plus just some general advice on Florida? :)

For accomodation that is highly rated and so close to Disney property that you can use the Disney transport system for free, try Vacation Upgrades.

If you can stand the anticipation and aren't averse to risk, hold out for flights. I was able to find three seats aboard a First Choice flight from Glasgow to Sanford for £450 for a friend who was two weeks from his holiday dates. You may still have to pay full price but like I said, it's a gamble.

June also tends to be very busy so if you can, change it to May. This will give you longer hours of sunshine, less chance of rain and smaller crowds. The only downside is that love bugs are in abundance at this time of year and can be slightly annoying but they don't bite and our own midge is a thousand times worse.

Can't say much, other than we've been looking at going and most flights don't seem to take bookings until 11months out, so your just outside the window at the moment.

Got back last month. What kind of accomodation are you looking for? We had a villa that slept 10 with a private heated pool for £450p/w. About a 20 minute drive to the Disney parks.

Also car hire was dirt cheap (compared to Europe), we had a Mustang convertible for £180 p/w.

my wife was looking on some website that tries to find last minute deals and she saw some uber cheap ones for hotels at disneyworld :O
we paid a fortune over a year ago aswell booking it all in advance thinking it would be cheaper
it would have cost us around 1/3 to grab a last minute deal.

disneyworld is absolutely massive btw and awesome even if your an adult :D if you go florida you must atleast visit one of the disneyworld areas, we went for 2 weeks a few years back and it wasnt enough time to do all of disneyworld , its so huge were going back for 3 weeks later in the year

Wow thats a fair bit of a saving right there!

Looking at somewhere near international drive, somewhere central as we want to visit all the parks. Though if somewhere nicer/cheaper gets recommended elsewhere it will be worth considering.
