Focus Rally car anyone?

Who on earth do people insist on putting large unreadable text on ebay car adverts?! It drives me absolutely nuts! Not to mention the massive block of text with minimal punctuation.

Shame its not a proper rally car. Looks tatty really.

I'm loving the standard Dash with CD player! A must have for all this years World Rally entrants I'm sure. Can't see the point really it's all show and no go!

it was done as a PR car then obviously given away as a competition prize

cant see a problem to be honest. So what if its all show and no go ? it looks the part ..

i get what he's trying to say

he should have said "normal" rather than stock. You'd expect a car like that to have the power to match (hence the all show and no go comments)

but he's pointing out its just a tarted up focus, with a normal focus engine, allbeit with a few mods, probably done by the previous owner i reckon.

Thats like putting one of those ferrari kits on an mr2, its gay no matter how well the job is done.

thats totally different

thats trying to pass your car off as a different make

nowhere on that Focus does it say "Cosworth" or "RS" or something. Its not pretending its anything its not. Its just covered in all the graphics.

and lets be honest, it was a competition prize and is the ideal car for a big WRC fan.

Looks good to me, nice rally styling whilst remaining functional as a daily driver - I think it'd be a real winner with either a rally fan or a wealthy chav who thinks it's "mint".

Ford have quite a few of those which they use for PR. No point speccing up something which isn't going to get used.
I did some stuff with them for school (ees) and they told us that.

Also, apparently the Focus ST sounds nice because they have a diaphragm on the turbo outlet which leads to a tube into the passenger section. This makes it sound better. Cheating though tbh ;)

Well, the induction system and any ECU parts are not actually the engine, so yes the engine is standard.

The engine in my Supra is standard but fitted with a Ramair induction filter and a Mongoose exhaust system.

Yeh, I figured he meant it's got an engine that's standard for the Focus, but with a few little mods. Just that so many people on flebay say they are selling their stock xx car, and it has xx mods on it.

Lopéz - You know what I mean, engine being that big collection of bits under the bonnet. ;)

Nice car though, much better than a stock one in my opinion, and I'm not a proper rally fan. :)
