I was just bothered by the difference of the one top right ,ive contacted the supplier he says all should be ok.If not he will exchange:)

How well does folding scale:D

Have looked at that thread ,not sure but think he may be doing something wrong?!

I didnt pay even near that much for them(probably about the same price as an X5650;)) but then i dont have them in the motherboard yet or even my hand.

I would imagine our build costs will be similar when you factor in the water.
Will be good to see how the ppd's compare, it will be doing little but fold:cool:

Cant aford to eat until june but the reason i went AMD was upgrade path(Interlagos) when we see if bulldozer shapes up.

Heh, yeah your 48 threads against my 24

BitTech has them neck and neck for a dual cpu rig in FAH but thats at stock with the 6174 just edging two X5650's in FAH

I ran my news script just now, so have the week's stats. Too lazy/tired to post it up though. Will do it tomorrow. I found what was up with my tiffy calculations too. I was comparing the new tiffy with a null value, so it always appeared to be a new one! :p

Will fix that. Wish the EOC fella would get back to me though. I'll give him a day or two before I start polishing my script. If he comes through for us it will have to be a Version 2 job lol.

Looks like my production is down a fair bit, stupid WUs.

Biffa, does your GTX460 ever give you 10,888ish on any of these P6800 WUs? Wonder if it is the WUs or the card throttling.

Oh good, My i7's have finally started getting their bonus :D.
28K PPD. That should shoot me up the ladder for a few weeks.

I really want to be able to jusitfy sticking an Overclocked i7 or SR-2 in my home server. Is that overkill for streaming movies to my PS3 do you think?

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd ask in here, just a quick question :).

Upgraded my old trusty 8800GT a few weeks ago to a 460, is there some process I need to go through to tell F@H it's a new card? At the moment nothing happens when I launch the gpu client.

Im a happy chappy after looking at EOC today, had my first day of dumping more than 10K, wondered how long I'll be allowed to leave the rig on during the night

Who do you need to convince? Follow dekez's folding@home excuse guide! :D

Person------------------Excuse

Parents-----------------"It's running programs for my studies!"

Girlfriend---------------"It's downloading chick flicks for you!"

Wife--------------------"It makes the house warmer!"

Obviously the best reason is the fact that it is contributing towards medical research, but you may find the above work a little better! ;):p

(dekez is not held responsible for any resulting arguments!)

Whenever I go away on a trip, my Dad always tells me to turn off anything electrical. Since I don't want to switch off my PC, I just tell him that "my PC will switch itself on and off now and then during the day".

Unless you sit and watch it all day you can't say for sure whether it is doing what I said or whether it is on all the time! :P

As for the leccy bills, I hide it all behind the fact I don't any electricity for anything else - no stereo system, no TV or surround sound. I rarely leave lights on when in my room etc etc. I probably use less leccy than everyone else! :p
