fairly quiet around here as of lately , see biffa has 4 titans running again, I guess he got the new cpu he was upgrading to.

whats the best intel server cpus? is it the ones you guys already have
 
Got back from work on Friday and, as I said I was going to elsewhere, I've switched from the Bigstan account now that it's past 50 million. I've started back on the old Stan_Lite account I had a while back so I can have some stomping fun :D

I've got most of the bits I need to do the upgrades to the SR-2 rig and the gaming rig but I don't have the time just now - off to sunny Lanzarote on Wednesday for a fortnight and then I'm off back to work for a month a few days after I get back. I may get something done with them in August. Obviously, there was no way I'd be leaving the new 690 doing nothing so that has been bunged in the server for the time being - currently giving an increase of around 170K PPD. That's giving me a projected PPD of around 630K according to HFM. That should see Stan_Lite bounce up the table fairly rapidly :D

Team doing well at the moment - awesome effort by loudbob and I see Biffa's output starting to pick up again.

The Zeta Core 17 has been transferred to advanced now - I changed my flags from beta to advanced as I got core 15's on every gpu.

The gpu's really don't like the 15's due to the temperature - two 660's couldn't complete a single wu :(

Anyways, now I'm on the advanced flag they seem to be picking up the 17's again :)

The SR-2 has 3x670s, the gaming rig has 1x690 + 1x670 and the server has 1x690 at the moment.

The upgrades are just watercooling for everything and a new case, MB and RAM for the gaming rig (as well as the aforementioned 2nd 690). I'm going to try again to get all 4 670s in the SR-2. If I still can't get it to work, I'll try the 2 690s in there to see if it's an issue with 4 GPUs or whether the issue is with 4 physical cards. If that works I will try 2x690s and 1x670 in the SR-2 and put the other 3 670s in the gaming rig. I would like to put both 690s in the gaming rig if I can so I'll try to get the 4 670s to work in the SR-2 if I can.

I have a 480 rad for the front of the Elysium the SR-2 is in and I'll build a second loop for the GPUs (both CPUs are currently watercooled.

I've bought a TJ07 for the gaming rig along with an Asus Maximus V Extreme and 16GB of 2400MHz RAM. I have a 480 rad for the GPUs in there and a 240 rad for the CPU. I've also got a new EK supremacy block for the CPU with a kit so the block will fit on the 3770K de-lidded. I also have a few other things like keyboard and mouse etc. Here, have a picture of my swag:

I'm still short of a block for one of the 670s but I have blocks for the other 3 and blocks for both 690s. Also a bucketload of Gentle Typhoons and a couple of fan controllers.

This won't add a lot to my PPD as everything is overclocked already. I might be able to squeeze a bit more out of everything with better cooling. The main benefit is going to be peace and quiet. The racket is deafening at the moment.

Oh do you have to ruin my impending party :( A top 10 slot I had thought was beyond my aspirations, but just as it looked a possibility you show up on my radar. Potentially two accounts in the top 10 crunchers isn't cricket.

Sorry dude - nothing personal :p

Ultimate plan is to let Stan_Lite catch up with Bigstan and then split my output between both accounts and see if I can keep two accounts in the top 5.
