Yeah maybe, but the system has hung again with no GTX480 Overclock. Hmms...

It should be ok at stock, did you reinstall the drivers? Sometimes that helps.

It could be power, you got an i7 overclocked in there? Probably pulling close to 300W plus a GTX480 which will pull near 300W on its own when under heavy load, add a few bits and pieces on the rig and your well into the upper, non efficient end of what a 750W PSU is capable of handling cleanly. Age of the PSU could have an effect on its efficiency and performance as well.

Yeah I did when I swapped the cards around.

I expect it is the PSU, TX750s are normally pretty good but the system is pushing it: 2 x GTX460 OC 900Core, 1 x i7 920 @ 4GHz and 1 x GTX480 @ Stock.

Biffa, just noticed you mention that the redwings are pap on rads, what did you replace them with out of interest as I'm going to be reworking my loop shortly with new fans, tube route and possibly get rid of my EK 240 rad and replace it with a Thermochill.

Well, on weebeastie I have all Scythe Gentle Typhoons which are probably the best 120mm x25mm radiator fans for static pressure and controllable noise. They are hard to find sometimes and cost more than many other fans. Other good fans are Yate Loons (cheap but effective) & Akasa Apache blacks (mid price range)

My experience and opinions of course, from the research and testing I have done myself, other people will obviously have other ideas, some people swear by 38mm thickness fans, and I have 3 38mm Yates Loons of them on my 360 radiator just out of my own inquisitiveness, they work ok but have a different harmonic sound.

Sometimes its not just about performance, its about what will fit, same thing applies to tubing and radiators. :)

Ah, but I see Stompy is coming along nicely - even if it's only till the new year :D

Yep stompy will be awesome  and if it doesn't look like its going to make it to the mill I'll throw my lot in for the ride too :)

But back to today, or rather yesterday.
Code:
	   Daily Production
Day Points WUs
12.13.10 340,039 61

That was 3 bigadv's all completing on the same day

It is going to be up and down, I think my PPD will average out around 210-210K with 300K+ spikes when bigadvs finish on the same day, also some days will be sub 100K when there are no bigadvs on the rare occassion they run out or I take down a machine for maintenance (or overclocking testing) :D

However the SR-2 is doing a bigadv in under a day so hopefully sub 100K will not happen much. There is maybe 30-40K more per day I can squeeze out but then thats going to be it unless I convince someone to give weebeastie an SR-2 upgrade :D

Hmm.. sell 4 x GTX470's, a i7 970 and P6T7 WS.. thats almost half way there ;) I could sell the concept on the power savings alone! :D

Hmm, getting Error: Bad packet type from server on my 460s. Solved one by deleting work folder and the queue file. But this other one is still not getting any new WUs.

Looks like they are out of WUs.

Same with one on weebeastie, other three seem fine. But gpu0 ran out of work and is now paused. Gonna remote in and kick it.

Edit: Does HFM.net have a problem knowing what project 6806 is as it show as unknown core and has no PPD and I have updated the psummary file for it :( Its a GPU workunit.
