Nice work on the stomp and increase in output team

My own output should hopefully be increasing soon. Will hopefully get my lappy running again when I get back onshore - Fedex should be speeding the new fan across the Atlantic as we speak ($35 + $13 shipping for a little CPU fan  ), should arrive in time for my return next Friday.

Will also be fetching down the long lost bits for my other P4 rig (2.4GHz Northwood) from Shetland when I go up to visit, so that should be up and running by the weekend after. I will also be borging big bro's PC whilst I am up so I should get a few points from that (won't be on that much but every little helps).

I am also doing quite a bit of offshore work at the moment so it shouldn't be too long until I get enough cash together to buy another rig :D (not sure whether to buy a cheap one soon, or save up a bit and get a sooper dooper jobbie).

    Stan :)

You can't go far wrong with an Opteron 146 for the money mate. Couple it with a gig of ram, a decent cooler and a tidy psu and you've got the makings of a nicely overclockable Folder. Either that or the other pick for cpu has to be a 3800+ X2 for a shade over 200 notes. I reckon these have got decent overclock potential for the money too and obviously can handle two woos at once!

Reckon he should leave it on for a month tbh seeing you've waited that long :D

I'd just like to mention Walter_Anderson, he's only a couple of hundred points (or secs in terms of ppd) of stomping me, great output last month of 26,347 points for 162 WU's

I'm sure that took me a couple of months.

    But well done mate ;)

Welcome to the new peeps and thanks for the news Rich:)

My Opteron 146 CABYE will be up early next week I hope, so there'll be another cruncher to the cause.

Hopefully I'll get through more on that than I do on the Barton.

One on my worst weeks for production, the shame, stupid electricity companies [IMG]. I just had a 1200 point dump that
hasn't shown up here, you could have waited another hour or so Rich [IMG].

Oh well, at least i got a good headstart for next week, thanks for the news Rich

unlucky - i'm either gonna hold on for someone selling a manchester second hand or wait and see what comes out on the next socket - the early chips always seem to be worth the money these days while they are still trying to get the public really interested :o
