Food allergy notices

I've just checked the allergy information "Contains blah....blah....MUSTARD...blah....blah"

What for? Bald people?

Omg, all this time and I never realised there was a difference between saturated fat and fully saturated fat! :D

Who knows what I have done to my body over the years by making this seemingly innocuous error :p

I'm only going back a couple of years but my mother was nearly on her deathbed and ended up in hospital with really bad breathing difficulties. They fixed her but she still continued to suffer with her breathing. She then rang me up and asked me to look on my t'internet thing if nuts could damage your breathing if you were allergic and I told her that I didn't even need to look that up because it was common. She then told me that every week she bought two big blocks of Cadbury's Nut Chocolate for the last 30 years or so. She stopped eating it and she's been better ever since but how the hospital overlooked this is beyond me.

My eldest daughter is allergic to nuts but not to a great extent other than they make her throat swell up and vomit. I love nuts (eating some red Skin Peanuts now) and she can smell them across a 20 foot room.

I have the weirdest food allergy and I posted pictures about two years ago.
I have an extreme form of dermagraphism and its great for party tricks.
5% of the population have a mild form but the extreme form is rare.
Mine is exactly like the pictures here -
http://images.google.co.uk/images?s...snum=1&ct=result&cd=1&q=dermographism&spell=1
and its quite funny that one person has drawn ITCH on their arm because you are itching 24/7.
Mine also comes up about 5mm off my skin.

what food is it that does that?

They told me that they would never find out and therefore I won't be cured.
It could be a mixture of anything.
I thought they would have put liquids on my arm and jabbed them like they did when I had normal allergies in the 80's but they can't do it for this.
When I'm working I always accidentally scratch myself and when somebody new is bought to me I can see them looking down at my arms as though I've got really bad scars or I'm a self hurter.
It must freak them out when they see me later and its gone.

Do you have any allergies? You would be surprised how much time the 'allergy advice' sections save over reading the ingredients list, especially when you have to check every single product you buy and a lot of them have two dozen different ingredients printed in font size 2.
I have in the past had to read through ingredients list due to problem I used to have. I never had a problem doing it. I still do it in fact, I like to know whats in my food including the hidden stuff.
