I wouldn't be surprised to see anelka and drogba start, Torres benched and then Torres coming on later for drogba.

For most matches no, but for their first match for the team, I wouldn't be at all surprised, its quite common for a signings first match to come as a sub rather than a starter. Throw in the factors of playing against the former club, difficulty of the game and importance of not losing and wanting to mess with the formation at this point and I could quite easily see them keeping things as they are and doing a straight swap for Torres for drogba either at half time or midway through the second half.

It could be 0-0 but there's no way it'll be a bore fest.
Chelsea have been reinvigorated after the recent purchases, as the performance midweek v Sunderland showed, and they'll be just as up for this game.
So will Liverpool...

Sunderland were not at their best by any means (1st game after Bent's departure - their main goal threat, other players were missing too)

Chelsea did ok, for sure - but wasnt that much of a test

Lets see which Liverpool team (and Chelsea for that matter) turns up on Sunday

Torres will start for sure but I think Drogba and Anelka will also both start. Anelka was played behind the front two last week and it was very effective - Carlo was clearly testing stuff for when Torres starts so I anticipate the same this week with Kalou being benched.

It's gonna be a HUGE game.
