Hello all.

I decided seeing as my birthday is coming up to purchase a ds at long last, however, now the ds lite is out i really fancy 1 of them!

So could someone put me clear on some importing issues as i'v never done it before.

1. I'm gonna order the navy from lik sang but, living in uk is it just the stepdown convertor i'd need to purchase along with it so i could charge it?

2. Is it £130ish in total for ds,stepdown and shipping, also what shipping do you recommend?

3. How long roughly did it take to arrive?

4. What happens if it's dud or dead pixels etc when it arrives, do lik sang replace it or what?

5. Last question, the instructions that come with it are obviously in japanese but is there an english section? Doesn't really matter as i have an english translation but i'm curious.

Cheers.

1- Step doen converter or USB charger
2- About that, yeah. I chose the cheapest 1-3 days option
3- It tells you when you choose the shipping method
4- Dead pixels are not a returnable fault
5- No english in the manual

1) Yes you'll need a step down.
2) Dunno !!
3) Its been a while since I got owt from Lik-Sang, but I rememeber stuff taking about a week(ish)
4) They will replace, but you'll have to front the cost of shipping it back to them.
5) DS' have language select screens, so you can switch it to English no probz.

(You sure dead pixels aren't returnable Kreeeeeeeeee ?? The item is clearly faulty and that would **** me off no end)

Only in certain situations, it's the same with PSPs and computer monitors. You need to have an unusually high number or 2-3 close together in the middle of the screen for them to accept the product as faulty.

Dont get one from liksang you will have to pay import duty etc which will bump up the price by at least £20-30, just get one from the well known auction site they go for around £135 and they are already in the u.k!!
