**in its own thread now** **beats self with stick**

Was looking around for random jap boxes supporting wicked camber and N2 flares boso Stylee and came upon this:

I love the MX5. It pushes all my buttons when done correctly. A standard model with all the top spec OEM additions pushes my buttons and something a little different like this really gets my blood flowing. Not a lot of engine work, but enough to break two standard trannies.

It's a lovely little engine bay, love the custom cooling on it. Not sure about the Mini Lites, but the stretched rubber works for me. Headlights are ok. Those vents underneath make them look a bit odd, but I guess they're needed.

Sorry if this may be a repost, many MX5 threads in search.

When I finish paying for my car, I am hoping to get an older car. Like this year MX5, an SW20 or an AW11. All 3 begging for my affection but not the right age nor maturity to fully respect anything of the sort.

Mmm, seen that befor, but been trying to find it since, damn nice car, and the arches are from the jap N2 race series.

And theDude, that looks great mate, very very clean and the wheels look fantastic :)

Keep getting tempted to bin my numberplate and have the front smoothed over, but seeing how bloody 4x4s on my road keep running into the numberplate plinth i figure i'll just let them muller that instead of my bumper :(

That looks supurb, it really does. N2 arches work really well on some cars, and that is one of them. Especially with the Watanabe wheels (minilight stye).

Close, distinct lack of cigar though. ;)

Konig Rewinds.

I know a few guys who have been looking for N2-style arches in the UK for a while; anyone know of a supplier?

*n

PS: Konig Rewinds, 14x7, ET is -9!!!! and they're in a 4x114.3 flavour...£420 ;)

hehe, thrillseeker wasn't it? yer it was a little smelly on the brighton run, guess it was the lack of cat. Was behind you getting gassed for most of the journey ;) Do you still have it or did you traid in for the red one?

beat me to it, was going to post Alex (thedude) new mx5 on here. It looks amazing with the flared arches. Whilst you could blend them in to get rid of the 'tacked on' look i really wouldnt bother if it was mine. Looks spot on.

The yellow mr2 is mine in those above pics by the way, went out for a little photoshoot in London on the weekend :)

Had to go through a security gate to get to that part *sir do you mind if i swob your car for explosives* :D

sillocanslave - i still have it, i moved to london and left it at home with my dad to take care of it. i spent just shy of 2.5k in parts, i just couldnt let it go as it owed me so much money!!!

penski, i do like those rims even though they are a fake copy of my
RS wantanabes i have sitting in my garage which are 14 * 7 9.5 offset :p , the wheels on my red car are SSR reverse mesh 15 * 8 i think the rears are minus 15 offset havent had them off yet to check but they have a few inchs of dish... if you after some N2 arches pm me for details my friend has just imported some for himself they are very expensive though nearly a grand

r220 - your handbag matched your car on saturday, how sweet
