I thought as there seems to be a few watch fans on here I'd show off my latest purchase:

I spotted this a while back however the original version was quite small, but IWC increased the size of the 2006 model, so I decided to treat myself as it was my birthday. :)

And with my other beaut:

Very nice mate, never had an IWC but have often fancied a portuguese though I reckon my next one will be one of the JLC master compressor extremes

bit skint at moment so it may have to wait a bit unless I can bring myself to flog one or two first

Cheers for the comments, I know watches are very personal things so obviously not to everyones tastes. For me its a nice simple design that goes very well with a suit, without being too 'in your face'.

I got it for less than list price but had to do the deal there and then as someone else was waiting to buy it if I didn't.

Thats one of the few JLCs that I really like, not sure what my next watch will be. I would like another Panerai, the IWC Big Pilots is also on my list along with an AP royal oak offshore. But I'm trying to save for a new car which is not going well with all these watches I keep seeing. :p

Nice watch

What about Junghans watches? Really tempted to buy one of these:

Cost about £850. Anyone have a Junghans?

Or maybe this one, looks a lot more expensive:

Junghans generally have very high quality movements in them I'm told. They use the same modules as many more expensive watches. This snippet came from the guy who owns their official repairer/warranty company in the UK (who are also the same official repairers/warranty people for a few other high end brands). I spoke to him at an exhibition in Birmingham last year :)

!

Tried an AP ROO rubber clad recently, quite liked it but woulkd have preferred it with a leather strap

I also fancy a PAM 232, tried a 210 and really liked it so a 232 would be the same but more :D
