I am about to RMA my HIS X1900 XT back to OcUK. I am out of 28 days, so I would presume OcUK would send it back to HIS.

Anyway, I have kept all the original box/packing/cables/cd's with my X1900 XT. When I send the card back for RMA do I need to send the original box and everything ? The reason I ask is that I have seen some people receive replacements in Jiffy bags etc. with no original packing etc.... So I would be worried to send everything and then just receive the card stuffed into a jiffy in return....

Probably best to ring and ask. But whenever ive RMA'd things ( not to ocuk ) they usually ask for just the product back. But as i say best to ring just to be sure :)

My mates still waiting for his replacement HIS x1900, he was also out of 28 days, been about 3+ weeks now and still ziltch, id just send it back in the box, just the card though, i can't see them being to fussy about not getting the cables and everything. :)

If my mate comes back online ill ask him how he sent his back, as his goes through the manufacturer as said.

Loadsa, did you have time to ask your mate about his RMA?

Also how long does it generally take OcUK to reply to an RMA request on a webnote?

I have sent a few items back fairly recently and they are pretty good now. If things are in stock or a refund is due its pretty much sorted out in days.

I would personally ring them rather that use webnote. They should be able to email you an RMA if its determined faulty

Yeh but in the "contact" info there was no technical/customer service number, only sales is listed. I only got the customer service number from the auto reply from the webnote which was odd.

Plus with it been this 3DMark SM3.0 issue I wanted to send photographs of the problem. Its quite hard to explain over the phone. :)

I'll ring them in the morning if I still have no response.

Cheers,

Mike
