Forceware 169.32 Vista32/64/XP up at EVGA

Just found these, looks like these are the new drivers from Nvidia that are due (were supposed to be out Monday), so i imagine they will be upped on their own site soon .:)

http://www.evga.com/8800driver/

EDIT: Apparently these are just for the new 8800 GS, and are also up on the Nvidia site, but this thread here at Guru3D :-

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=251881

Has the drivers with modded inf's, so they work with all 8 series cards, and apparently the profile AA works in these ones as well.

NOW ALSO FOR XP32/64bit

Well i had to pop out after i downed them, so gona test them now. :)

The ones on the Nvidia site are 8800 GS only, but in that thread over at Guru i linked to, you can get them with a modded .inf, so they work on all 8800's (i think the Vista sets on the EVGA site have also been modded for all 8 series). :D

I want:

More 3dmarks and more crysismarks

I'm more interested in crysismark so can you give that a whirl?

I want:

an improvement on FPS through every game

Sod Crysis, Sod 3dmark

Now this is how I seen your post :D.

I'm not bothered about Crysis in the slightest due to the reports from people with better systems than mine that say it's a bit choppy. I waited about a year to play FarCry as I couldn't max it out so I might wait for Crysis as I'd love to play it smoothly and at the highest settings for a totally immersed experience.

Looking forward to some benchmarks Loadsa. I hope you'll do the most popular titles at least?.

Eh, this driver is only available to give official support to the 8800GS, why the hell would there be some kind of performance boost for other cards.:o

AA profiles work in the latest beta.

171's were flaky for me, will be good drivers for anyone on a 8800gts where the oldest driver available (169.21) has broken profiles and so do all the rest except the 171's, besides from the guru3d thread seems like their nice drivers with a few performance improvements

They get a thumbs up from me, Crysis was up from about 37.13 to 38.30, not a huge increase, but it is an increase nonetheless :D

3DMark 06 was about the same 10.4k, ran the Fear test seen as i have that installed again, again was around the same, 65 minimum, 115 average, 293 max (i think:D) Bioshock ran great as per usual, nice and smooth, CoD4 seemed smoother, and again ran great as per usual, Ep2 also ran great, as did Stalker, also the IQ is spot on, nice and sharp, vivid colours, so i'll be keeping these on, finally i can update from the 169.17 beta's. :D

Also the drivers are dated 09/01/2008, so they are newer than the 169.28 beta's, as they are dated December 2007. :)

I would have tested a few more games, but those are the only ones ive got installed at present. :p

Nice one and cheers for giving them a decent run down. Might give these a try now as it's going to be a long night for me :(. Fell asleep after a huuuuge dinner and just woke up 10 mins ago (bangshead).

Np, definately a decent set imo, and its about time we had some :p, i wonder if those 171's will be the next proper release, as these drivers are mainly for the 8800 GS, just everyone else has modded them to work on all the 8800's, or they may release those when the 9 series appear. :)

Downloaded these last night, but was too late to install them. Anyone tried using Media centre with AVI's and seen if this fixes the "jumping picture"? This bug was introduced after 163.75, gotta love Nvidia drivers, first they brake PAL TV out, then this.
