It's only a 1.4 in a heavy car, it's about as fast as the old shape 1.25! age > mileage.

If it makes your life easier just roll with it

I'd still be expecting a service a year even at that mileage.

Better than paying over the odds for lollowmileage and a horrible colour with steel wheels. I was agreeing with the point about getting one the same age for less anyway...

In your opinion it's a horrible colour, my Mrs actually quit likes it and to be honest I would rather her be happy with it seeing as I'm buying it for her not you

And now for some useful advice - this months Glass's has that car with a Retail Book of £4300 adjusted for 20k miles. So it's nothing like £1500 overpriced, but it is about 500 quid above Retail money.

I always thought you were an advocate of age > mileage... My point was you can save a bit if you go up in mileage - is it really worth paying extra for the sake of low mileage? It's still a 5yo Fiesta. OP has made his mind up anyway, he isn't be shafted but could pay less for one with more mileage and the same age.

And it suits me when the OP is about to buy 'the green one' a mile away to keep his GF happy. Going and finding a 70k miler to save 1500 quid probably isnt worth the faff. Whereas haggling 500 quid off the one he's found to bring into line with its value probably is worth the faff.
