Also it didnt come with ABS, now am i able to get this fitted or not? Also can someone give me aproximate costing?

Whilst its a good feature its not worth having fitted, it requires a fair bit of work to do, you will need new CV joints/shafts, ABS pump, wiring and more, plus labour on top.

clutch on my focus is also high, and a lot heavier than the one on my dad's mk3 mondeo (fun the first time I drove the mondeo after driving the focus for a couple of weeks)- to test the clutch put it in 5th with handbrake on and bring it up. Car should stall. Else it needs a new one soonish.

Wouldn't worry about the ABS tbh.

Will try that one tomorrow tryed the 5th gear 30mph and floor it and check the engine speed and there is no problems there ;)

Clutch on my Focus was high too. The biting point is adjustable iirc and it doesn't mean it's on it's way out.

And yes, ABS isn't worth it... the ABS sensors alone are a vast amount of money, it would be cheaper to sell your car and buy a Focus with ABS... but that's not really worth the hassle. ;)

They dont have clutch cables :)

I found this out yesterday when my Focus' clutch failed:
The clutch went all loose and it wouldn't change gear.

"Ok a new clutch cable won't be too bad, quick and easy, can be done at the scene" I thought, then the AA guy goes "they don't have a cable, it'll be something to do with the hydraulics as there's no pressure when you depress the clutch, it'll need a garage!"

So gotta sort this out now!

Haven't had a chance to sort out a repairer yet, anyone know how little or how much it could be cost?
