Ford Focus Zetec Climate Radio AUX ideas/info/alternatives?

Hi guys and gals... me and the missus have just bought a brand new ford focus zetec climate - we love it to bits! The car came with the ford 6000cd radio. I wanted my sat nav hard wired (for power and sound) into the car so I took it to Halfords...

The guy said they would do it first of all - no probs. He told me the lead would cost £50 and fitting £40 - again... no probs. I had a phone call an hour later telling me they had the wrong lead and that the one I needed wasn't being supplied yet! Could this be the case?

If so is there any other way of getting my Tomtom sound through the car speakers?

Theres a space where the input goes - but no input there (although the manual says I should have one) :confused:

I think (but don't quote me on this) you only get the input socket in the glove box if you get the optional sony stereo system instead of the standard ford one...
