Ford Ka Service

The girlfriend has just put her Ford Ka in for service;

They've picked up on the following faults....

Front break discs - £140+VAT
Break fluid - £40+VAT

Would you say these are expensive charges? They certainly seem so to me but I've no idea... much appreciated.

£40 for break fluid, tell them you will supply your own at that price. save yourself 35 quid.

My local Ford dealer charged me £90 for front discs and pads and £25 for a brake fluid change on a Mondeo ST, so that looks dear to me.

Ok obviously not genuine parts, but your average motor factors should be able to supply all them parts for under £60inc VAT for decent branded parts.

edit: I also added the cost of pads in to that £60
